The Delp Family has taken much pride in restoring and renovating these two homes. Grandfather's Place has given the family a lot of joy over the years. Spicer Cottage is fairly new to the family, but it also holds a special place in our hearts.

Grandfather's Place is nestled in the corner of 110 acres and was built in the 1930's by Robert "Bob" Hershel Delp. He lived here with his family for a number of years. Three generations of the Delp Family have owned this property. The third generation still owns it today. The home was restored in1988 and has been used by family and friends over the years. The family has tried to leave the home in its original state adding only the modern amenities. Click here to see photo gallery of Grandfather's Place.

Spicer Cottage is located in the center of about 45 acres on Spicer Farm. It was purchased in 2001. The home was built in the early 1950's and has been completely restored with all new furnishings. The ponds were built during the restoration of the farm. The farm is also used to grow Christmas trees. Click here to see photo gallery of Spicer Cottage.

We welcome our guests to come and experience a simpler time in our little corner of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
